Description

The Eastport Distribution Center development will consist of 2 new, Class A distribution centers totaling 552,240 square feet. The property is located in Summerville, SC, northwest of the Charleston. Building I will be a 229,840 square foot and Building II will be a 322,400 square foot facility. The new buildings will have 36’ clear heights. In total, the Eastport industrial park will have 104 dock-high doors and 4 drive-in doors.

 

This property is located in the quickly growing I-26 North/North Charleston industrial submarket with immediate access to the I-26 corridor, which runs south to the Port of Charleston and north to Greenville-Spartanburg. The Charleston market as a whole is ranked as the second fastest growing industrial submarket in the US according to CBRE’s Industrial & Logistics Q4 2020 Report.

 

The 75 acres of land for the Eastport development was acquired by Dalfen in August 2021. Building 1 was completed in Q4 2022, and Building 2 will be completed in Q3 2023.
